1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Applyrift ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service. Applyrift is an AI-powered job search workspace designed to help users track applications, tailor resumes, and get feedback.

2. Description of Service & AI Disclaimer

Applyrift utilizes third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate feedback, tailor resumes, and draft content.

• No Guarantee of Results: We offer no guarantee that using our service will result in a job interview or offer. AI tools assist the process but do not replace human judgment.
• Accuracy of AI: AI-generated content can occasionally be inaccurate, hallucinated, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content—including tailored CVs—before sending it to employers.

3. User Content

When you upload your CVs, resumes, job descriptions, or feedback notes ("User Content"), you retain all rights to your content.

• You grant us a necessary, non-exclusive license to use, store, and process your content through our AI providers (such as Anthropic) in order to provide the requested services back to you.
• You represent and warrant that you own or have the rights to the content you upload, and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

4. Subscriptions and Credits

We offer both free functionality and paid features (subscriptions and/or credit packs).

• Payments: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a subscription or credits, you agree to our pricing terms presented at checkout.
• Refunds: Except when required by law, paid subscription fees and credit purchases are generally non-refundable. Paid credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
• Fair Use: We reserve the right to enforce rate limits on AI actions (even on paid plans) to prevent abuse of the platform and API resources.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will instantly cease.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Applyrift, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, missed employment opportunities, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service. Applications are sent at your own risk.
